The club held their annual charity quiz on the Friday 5th February at 9.30pm for Marie Currie Cancer. A good crowd turned out and we raised £350. Thanks to all those involved. Pictured are club Chairman Dominic Molloy, and Marie Curie representatives; Bernie Campbell and Kathleen Hurson.
Membership will be accepted any Monday night at 9pm before the lotto draw. In addition, special registration nights have been arranged for Monday February 8th and Monday February 22nd at 8pm.
The St John’s underage club team are holding a dinner in the Cohannon on Friday 12th February to celebrate their North Armagh Championship victory. Tickets are available from Mel Mullen.

There are still places available on the Sports First Aid course running at Mid Ulster Sports Arena, Tullywiggan Road, Cookstown, on Monday 8 and Monday 15 February 2010.
There is little activity on the sports front at present however work behind the scene continues with preparation for the plumbing on the new building to start next week. The cold snap has delayed the completion of the plastering but we hope to be back on track this week.
Congratulations to Brendan Donaghy on being awarded the Armagh Player of the Year at the County Dinner. Brendan has also been named Captain for the McKenna Cup. More photos and reports here

The Club held their AGM recently to reflect on the past year and prepare for 2010. The Chairman Dominic Molloy, Secretary Kevin Crossey and Treasurer Paul Grimley all set delivered comprehensive reports on the past year, thanking all for their efforts.
