St Patrick’s Day Parade 2010 – Armagh City

Rules
We really hope that the GAA Clubs would be interested in participating in the forthcoming Armagh St Patrick’s Day Parade 2010 on 17th March.
Please find the parade details below:
Location: Palace Stables (Armagh Council Offices), The Palace Demesne, Armagh, BT60 4EL
Parking: Their will be parking available at the Armagh City Hotel (near conference area coach park)
Arrival Time: 1.30pm at the latest (on arrival your club will be positioned in the parade running order)
If you require a light lunch on arrival please be at the Palace Stables at 12.30pm
Parade Time: 2.30pm
Route: Palace Stables – Irish St – Ogle St – Thomas St – Upper English St – Lower English St – Lonsdale Rd – Russell St (see attached)
Entertainment after parade – Market Street area
Clothing – we would be delighted if you could wear your club shirts and bring your club banner.
I have attached a copy of the terms and conditions of participation which all groups/clubs etc have to adhere to.
This year’s parade will have a true ‘mardi gras’ carnival feel as we celebrate the Legacy of St Patrick and his links to Armagh. There will be a selection of music and children’s entertainers in Market Street once the parade is finished which we hope you will enjoy.
Please confirm the following before Monday 1st March:
- if your club wish to participate in the St Patricks Day Parade
- if bus transportation is required for your members to/from Armagh
- if you require a light lunch for some of your members – please provide numbers
