Home CRG Clonmore through the years project Clonmore Through the Years project update

Dear friends of Clonmore,

Just a quick update on what's happening with the project. Interviews are being conducted at the minute on the Football Club - a very appropriate time given the official opening celebrations of the new changing facilities and pitch on Sunday 23rd.

There is a great buzz in the club and community about the visit from the GAA President and the county teams of Galway and Armagh - it will be a great occasion for the whole community and I will be hoping to catch the sentiments of a number of people on video on Sunday (you have been warned!).

The chapel interviews are completed and some school ones have been carried out and in the good weather footage will be gathered around Clonmore for use in the project DVD. Before the end of the school year, the children of Clintyclay will begin some of the activities of the project teaching so that their input into the project can be included in the book.

I am hoping to reschedule the “tea and a bun” morning to a Sunday in June (when there is no football!) – keep a watch out for notices on this.

I would still welcome any input in terms of interviews, statements, photos or archive video footage - so please don't hesitate to post, email or telephone me at any point.

Thanks

Roisin
