U16 Noamh Labhaoise v Doire Nuís

The U16 team of Naomh Labhaoise faced Derrynoose in the final match of the league on Monday evening. Missing 4 regulars due to injury and holidays the girls battled away bravely to finish on the right side of the score line at the end and secure a top 4 position in the league. The game which was fairly high scoring was played in an excellent sporting manner by both teams and well officiated by Ciaran Conlan of the North Board. With so many regulars  missing for both teams this proved a useful exercise for giving all attending a game and every-one thoroughly enjoyed it.
Naomh Labhaoise introduced many new faces to the starting line up, where Suzanne Mc Quaid,Bronagh Gribben,Grainne Kearney and a very youthful Ann Marie Cunningham made her debut at this level. There was also a fine performance from stand in goalie Emer Robinson who done everything right. Well done to all of you.
