Naomh labhaoise have been busy preparing for 2 Championship games recently. On Wed 29th July the u16 girls will play Clann Eireann in the quarter final of the Championship. This game is down for 7pm at Robert Emmet Park. With success also coming in the Minor Championship against Mullabawn, the game originally fixed for the 30th July has been changed. At the time of going to press this Championship semi final game has been rescheduled for Ballyhegan on Thursday 13th August. All support is very welcome for these two teams as they enter into unchartered terriority for the first time. Both teams, as proved in the league meetings are complete underdogs coming up against the might of Clann Eireann. The management would like to thank all the girls for their committement over the last few weeks in preparation for these games and the belief that they can compete with the best at a higher level. Good luck to all. The club are also pleased to announce that funding has been secured from the lottery Big deal project, for taking foward the full integration of the ladies football into the main Robert Emmet Club. Over the coming weeks integration events from u10 up to senior will be occurring for all those ladies who wish to play for Naomh labhaoise in the distant future. During these events the Club will outline the vision and strategy of ladies football in the Clonmore and surrounding areas. Please feel free to contact any committee member for further details on joining up.
