Naomh Labhaoise U16 had 2 games last week. On Monday Night they faced Armagh Harps

in the college grounds and only for a major score with almost the last kick of the game, the clonmore girls would have earned a share of the spoils. This was a very entertaining game well referred by John Mc Geary and very encouraging for the future. On Thursday night, Naomh labhaoise had Derrynoose as the visitors to Robert Emmet Park and came away with a good victory against a very spirited Derrynoose squad. Derrynoose scored the first major of the game after a few minutes of the start. However it was the Clonmore Girls who took the initiative shortly afterwards finishing up very worthwhile winners. Derrynoose have to be commended for playing right to the end and using all their young players throughout the match.

During Both games we had fantastic performances from Orla Casey and Eimear cushanan who proved to be as good a defender as attacker and certainly one for the future. Next games will be informed by text. Training continues for all ages Monday and Thursday at 6.30pm.
