Congratulations to Brendy on selection for the Armagh league panel, also well done to John Grimley on making the minors. As yet there is no word on the U21 hopefuls. Lotto 6, 8, 19, 22: K. Grimley, K. Donaghy, N. Farmer.

This year’s committee is hard at work already with preparations finished for the latest fundraiser. Due to much hard work behind the scenes the tickets for the 1 to 2000 Grand holiday draw have been distributed. Ticket prices are from 1p to £20. Pick an envelope and you pay the ticket number in pence, to be drawn Easter 2007. 1st prize 7 days Mediterranean cruise with £300, 2nd prize 7 days in Lake Garda Italy with £200, 3rd prize 3 nights in Paris with £100. The proceeds of this draw are to further develop the facilities around the pitch, the first goal being changing rooms and shower block. Each of the 40 sellers will have 50 tickets their total costs being equal. In all there are 2000 tickets numbered such that the cost of any ticket is the number of the ticket in pence, i.e., 0045 costs £0.45. Each ticket has the same chance of being drawn; further explanation can be found on the website. All sellers are asked to try their hardest to sell their quota keeping in mind that this may be the best chance for some time to raise funds to build the next phase of the development. This will take a lot of effort on your behalf, but the rewards will justify the commitment, something as players and committee you will be all too aware of. Let’s do it!
