Sarsfields made their way down the road for the re-fixed match on Sunday evening.
Although they are at opposite ends of the table the score line was a little flattering. Albeit a very good team, the lack of cover the Clonmore back line gave to the keeper made it easy to score goals. Maybe it was a case of a stretched team that is still trying to fit back together after the return of injured players. The important thing to do is learn from the mistakes and move on. There were positives to take from the match which we hopefully will see more off, good fielding by James Fox, a great appetite for getting the ball from Ciaran Beagan, good kick outs and the keeper was well out on a couple of occasions. Others played their part too in good passing sequences, some good scores and defending. Friday night is away to CrossII then Lissummon away on Sunday 24th.
