Martin Healy and Joan Sullivan will finally tie the knot after Martin’s return from the United States to his family home. “Bishop Cassidy” has agreed to perform the ceremony. The wedding reception of two of the key characters from the play ‘A Wake in the West’, will be held in Robert Emmett Park, Clonmore on Saturday, 13th June, 2009 at 6.30 pm. All money for "The Wedding in the West" should be in as soon as possible, preferably by 25th May. The stag& hen night is in the hall on Saturday 31st, over 16’s only. There is a 70’s fancy dress theme and admission is free.
Naomh labhaoise u16s had a win over Keady on Monday 18th. Missing two regulars in Rebecca Mc Geary and Lauren Dynes through injury, and fielding 10 under 14s, this was going to be a difficult match .The girls rallied throughout and come away with a hard earned but well deserved victory.
