Clonmore had a hard earned one point win over Lissummon at home last Friday evening.
Having Brendan back from county duty certainly helped. The changing rooms are coming on well due to the hard work of those involved. This week all attentions are focused on the big wedding on Saturday, all places have been taken and the Marquee is up and ready for our 400 guests . Congratulations to the happy copuple, let's party!
The development of the changing rooms is progressing well. The Wedding in the West fundraiser is the latest in our drive to provide the very best for our community, well done to those involved.
Clonmore Naomh labhaoise U16 had Armagh harps as visitors on Monday evening. This match was quickly switched to Collegeland. Thanks to Seamus Murphy and John Mc Geary for organising at short notice. Clonmore girls raced into a 5 point lead with great surging runs throughout the field. Harps clawed their way back to leave the half time score 10 points each. The game was nip and tuck throughout the second half until the harps forward line scored 2 majors. Final score Clonmore 3.9.Armagh Harps 3.14. Overall,a great performance from this very young team. It was also great to have 5 subs for the evening with Grainne Kearney, Laura Duddy, Bronagh Gribben and Suzanne Mc Quaid all contributing. Guess the score fundraiser was won by Jack Mc Geary. Suzzane Mc Quaid won the prize as top seller. Next few Matches are U16 v Ballyhegan and the final match V Derrynoose in Clonmore. After the exams the minors will commence their matches again on 25 th June against St Peters in Robert Emmet Park. Coaching for all continues on Mondays & Thursdays at 6.30 pm
