Clonmore continued their 2010 league campaign away to Eire Og. Brendan Donaghy was back but the team were forced to field without several players due the travel chaos and injury.
Clonmore hit the deck running but put their opening chances wide. There were a good few wides by both sides. The Ogs however broke through and despite Stephen Grimley getting a hand to the ball they hit the net. Half time score 1-5 to 0-2.
Clonmore started the second half with more good football. A few good moves saw James Fox set up Caolan Cunningham to score an awesome goal. Too many wasted chances saw this the only score of the half for us. Eire Og made better use of their possession with some well taken scores. Clonmore played consistently well in areas of the field, but overall against a more physical side it was a one sided game. Full time score 1-12 to 1-2, @clonmore.
