Clonmore continued their 2010 league campaign away to An Port Mor in Blackwatertown.
The team lined out slightly stronger than the previous week, but still minus a few players. In the first half Clonmore battled and contained the stronger An Port Mor side who had a couple of very lively forwards. The lighter Clonmore side were finding scores from play hard to come by. At half time the scores were 7 to 4 in favour of An Port Mor. For Most of the secondhalf Clonmore kept the difference to 3 points however Holmes in the Blackwater forward line struck a goal to what appeared to seal the game. However almost straight away James Mullen, Cathal Cunningham and James Fox set up Gerard Molloy who rounded the goalkeeper to score a goal. Clonmore continued to press however Holmes scored an excellent fisted goal to seal the match.
