On the football front there was little happening although Clonmore’s County player Brendan Donaghy did receive the County Player of the year at the Armagh County Dinner Dance. This is indeed a great accolade for Brendan and a great sense of pride for Clonmore, and the club wish continued success in 2010.

Our Club referee, Malachy McNichol has announced his retirement from County Refereeing after many years. Malachy represented the club and obtained great reviews for his impartial refereeing and will be sadly missed by the club and county. The club would wish him all the best.

Progress on the hall has been continuing quietly with Malachy Molloy’s team working at the internal plastering, which is almost complete. The plumbing is the next stage and negotiations on this are at an advanced stage.

The Club are holding a fun family Christmas Quiz on Monday 28th December 2009 at 9.30pm everyone welcome.

The Club would like to wish all members and supporters a happy Christmas and peaceful New Year.
