Several keen members of the club set off on Saturday morning from Warrenpoint to cycle to Bundoran to raise funds for the development of changing facilites. It was a mixed day weather wise but 70 miles later the first group pulle dinto Lisnaskea. After an overnight stay it was off to Enniskillen to meet up with those who were doing the final stage. The weather was mostly fair and a few hours later everyone rolled in safe and sound. A couple of nutters tried to spoil the fun by attacking all the cyclists from passing cars, luckly no one was seriously injured. Those who completed the cycle were: Liam Casey, Dominic Molloy, Anthony Clearn, James Grimley, Stephen Donaghy, Marcella Molloy, Patricia Molloy, Brian Donaghy and Colm McIlvenna. A big thanks to Packie Gribben who drove the support van, and Dominic Molloy who did the bulk of the organising. Back at home on Saturday a large group gathered to build the footings for the hall, a good effort. It was a nice touch to be welcomed into Bundoran by family and friends who took the time to support the event and make it into a social occasion. Thanks to those who generously sponsored the cyclists, we hope the the generations who follow make good use of what we are now striving to do.
